Cred Count doesn't phone home for every search. The first time you're online it pulls down a complete copy of our global parks-and-coasters database — a perfect read-only clone of what sits on our servers, entirely in your pocket. After that one sync, every search, filter and spec runs on your phone, so it all works exactly the same deep inside a park with no signal at all.
Your own logbook is the mirror image: it lives only on your phone, and we keep no copy. If our servers went down, everything you already have keeps working — you'd just stop getting catalogue updates until they're back.
A travelling fair, a brand-new opening, some obscure kiddie coaster in the middle of nowhere — if it isn't in the catalogue yet, add it as a Ghost Log and it counts straight away.
