Smart Import now reads your spreadsheet on your phone and sends nothing anywhere. Also big text, small screens, and screen readers that can press every button. Released 8 October 2026 to Google Play and TestFlight; written up 12 October 2026.

Replaces build 93. Everything in build 93 stands.

New

Smart Import reads your spreadsheet on your phone. Nothing is sent to Google or to us, it works offline, and there is no daily limit.

Your Sheet shows which column the phone thinks is the attraction, the park and the date, and you confirm or change each one.

Excel files (.xlsx and older .xls), CSV and Google Sheets all read, and a cell with a formula reads as what it shows.

Review logs is the whole import, on one page. The parks stand apart, a row whose date is unsure says so in words, and the new creds are counted in green.

Nothing comes in undated: give the import a date, date the rows one at a time, or leave them out. A year alone is enough for a row.

The finish says "Your History, Home." and the share card is a deck of the parks you brought in.

At large text, a focused search pins at the top so the results fill the room above the keyboard, and a date or region chip that would squeeze the search moves under it.

The Logbook, Explore and Stats scroll at large text, from the year card, the Trips door, the chips or the header.

Where any tab name would collide with its neighbour, all four hide and the icons grow.

A screen reader can open every tab and press every button it announces.

Catching up on another day names its year, and the top line counts that day's logs.

Changed

A ride with no date counts as a cred after every ride that has one, so a cred total can move once on update.

Cards put their icon on the first line of the title when beside it would leave the words too little room, and a heading's count or detail goes under its name rather than breaking a word.

Page titles wrap instead of ending in dots, and so does a park's name in the park-day pill.

The calendar is held to a size where its numbers fit, and the trophy reveal scrolls above a NEXT button that stays at the foot.

On a tablet, two panes appear only when there is room for both at your text size.

Backup File and your spreadsheets save through the phone's own save screen and say "Backup saved", instead of the share sheet.

Every picker is named beside its close button.

In the attraction form a model belongs to its maker: typing a new maker lets a chosen model go.

Removed

Smart Import no longer asks an AI service, so its daily limit and the "AI service is busy" message are gone.

Fixed

Logging an attraction at a defunct park no longer turns "The Rest of the Park" into a grey box.

Trip countdowns count whole calendar days when the clocks change.

Linked creds, so you choose how retrothemed or multi-track coasters count. Also units, a fairer timer, new widgets and lock screen, and iPad support. Released 4 October 2026 to Google Play and TestFlight; written up 12 October 2026.

Replaces build 91, and carries the large-screen work that was built after it. Everything in build 91 stands.

New

Linked creds: Settings, Creds, How You Count has three choices. Experiences of one attraction (VR, a seasonal overlay), coasters with several tracks, and earlier versions (a retheme, a move, tracks rebuilt into one). Each can be set to Ask me.

Your cred count may change on update. By default an earlier version is the same cred (Shockwave then The Wave is one), experiences are one cred and each track of a coaster is a cred. How You Count opens once on the first launch after the update to show where you stand.

Your Linked Coasters lists each linked set you have logged more than one of, shows which carries the cred and lets you override a set. Reset Your Choices shows what would change before anything does.

Ask me asks before a log is saved ("Count ENSŌ as a cred too?"). Count as a Cred on a log always has the final say. The watch follows the same choices.

Typing a multi-track coaster's own name (Steeplechase) in Quick Log or an import asks which track you mean.

Edit mode and Add Your Own Attraction have a Linked Attractions chapter. On your own listings a link counts at once, and on the catalogue it is a suggestion we review. A former name can be made a record of its own.

An attraction's page ends with The History: its moves, rethemes and retracks, one line each, latest first.

A cred logged for a past day stamps its own number by date, and the celebration says so.

Settings, Units: ride height, track length, speed and minimum height are each metric or imperial, or one shortcut (Metric, Imperial, UK). New installs follow the phone's region and existing installs stay metric.

Every dispatch is judged against typical, the session, or your earlier timings while a session is short: quicker, on pace, slower or far slower. Saved timings say how they compare, and the departure board uses a British station board's words.

Widgets are redone on both phones: Gauge, Wide gauge, Ticket and Wide ticket, each with its own settings.

iPhone: the lock screen is a park-day pill, the Dynamic Island shows your park and count, and a timing turns it orange with DISPATCH and UNDO. On Android the notification becomes the timing while it runs, with DISPATCH and UNDO.

Cred Count is an iPad app. Tablets and iPads get lists two across, a list that folds away beside its report, and a reading width for long text. Phones stay upright.

A train's front car is lit, and "Added by You" narrows the Logbook too.

Changed

Riders an hour are counted over the whole session.

Trophies keep their targets and show the converted figure in your units.

Fixed

Every Attraction opens faster.

A Drive restore or merge on a big logbook went from 42 seconds to under 3.

Every screen redrawn as Airtime, with new Today, Explore, Logbook and Stats tabs, rebuilt cred celebrations, search everywhere, widgets and big-screen layouts. Released 2 October 2026 to Google Play and TestFlight; written up 12 October 2026.

The whole app is redrawn on one design system, called Airtime.

New

Four tabs: Today, Explore, Logbook and Stats. Settings is behind the gear on Today and Tools is inside the Logbook.

A park-day pill floats above the tab bar with today's park and count, a stopwatch to time a ride and a plus to log. LOG and TIME open as a card that grows out of the button.

Settings has an Appearance page. Theme is Light, Dark or High Contrast. Ground is Glow, or the Sky: the real colour of the sky at the hour with a faint coaster track across the top.

A new cred is celebrated again: the count is held, then rolls up, a stamp lands on the card and the phone rumbles. DONE and SHARE work at once, and a tap jumps to the end. Trophies get the same, and so does turning COUNT AS A CRED on by hand.

Stats is a new tab with three views: Yours, Trophies and Seasons. Yours opens on your cred count, and its figures open the logs behind them.

ASK YOUR LOGS is a sentence you change: "SHOW ME MY … BY …". Count creds, milestones, rides, attractions, parks, countries, timings, ratings, track ridden, inversions or dispatch time, cut by year, month, weekday, time of day, country, park, trip, rating, or by maker, model, design, type, material, height, speed or year opened.

Seasons has a page for each year with new creds, parks and days out, the twelve months, the biggest day and the trophies earned.

Trophies are redone: gold medals, ladders with steps, five shelves, "Full House", a page for each, and progress on one not yet earned.

Search works from every page and reaches attractions, parks, logs, days out, trips, trophies and figures. It forgives typos and finds an attraction by a former name. Filters live inside search.

Explore shows your parks as their tracks first, with one search over parks, attractions and your logs, a "Your own" chip and a FILTER door.

The Logbook is one feed of your logs by day, with trips drawn round their days.

Quick Log offers to set today's park when none is set. A timing in progress survives the app being closed and ends at midnight with the park day.

Android tablets and unfolded foldables get a rail down the left from 600 wide and, from 840 wide, a list opening its report beside it. Sheets become floating panels. iPad is not supported yet.

iPhone: a Live Activity and Dynamic Island for the park day, and lock-screen widgets. Both phones: home screen widgets. Android: a park-day notification. These are new and unpolished.

A "credcount" link opens a page in the app, and the app icon has shortcuts.

A splash screen draws the logo as the app loads.

Changed

Buttons answer on touch down, and things arrive and leave with a movement. Dialogs, toasts, empty states, loaders and menus are redrawn.

Park and attraction pages use the report layout, and figures open in place.

The Active Park changes only when you or the day's first log says so.

Deleted things are erased after six months, and a restore asks before bringing long-deleted logs back.

Settings credits ThemeParks.wiki.

Pull to refresh now works on Android.

Removed

Time Rewind has no door in the app in this build. Its entry in the Logbook's Tools is gone while its screens are redone. Backups and restores from Drive remain.

The old five tabs (Dashboard, Explorer, Vault, Profile, Settings) and the old achievement badge images.

Every day at a park is a visit with its own report, trips hold days, share cards are redesigned, and the phone's catalogue stays a true copy of ours. Released 24 September 2026 to Google Play and TestFlight; written up 12 October 2026.

New

Each day at a park is a visit, made from your logs, with its own page: a headline, the day's track (a hill for each coaster at the minute you rode it, gold for a milestone), the moments only that day had, and TO SCALE, your totals set beside real things drawn as themselves, with the steepest drop and time on park added.

THE ROLL lists the day's rides in order with where you sat drawn on the ride's own train. A missing seat or rating can be added there.

Questions come from the day's own facts and your answers become the day's journal. The Dashboard offers a "morning after" card for your latest park day.

The Logbook has a heading for each visit, YOUR VISITS HERE opens every day, and a log's ticket names its visit.

A trip holds days, not individual logs. Every day you log inside its dates joins it, including days logged later, and a day you take out by hand stays out. Making a trip is three steps (When, Which days, a name), and "Looks like a trip" suggests one when your park days are close.

A trip's page is its report: the best of it, a row for each day and everything you wrote. EDIT TRIP works on the page. Trips of one day became visits, keeping their name and notes.

A ride's share card is its ticket, with your cred count as tally marks and a milestone in gold. Its figures are drawn as instruments against the world record, and when the log has a time the card sits under the real sky at that park at that moment.

A timing's card is a station departure board. A day or a trip has five swipeable styles (Scoreboard, Receipt, Front page, Stat card, To Scale). SHOW MY COUNT can hide your number. Every log's stub offers SHARE.

Trains and riders per train can be changed after a timing, on the save sheet or the measurement itself.

An own listing that turns out to be in the catalogue is offered under REVIEW CATALOGUE MATCHES in The Vault. Accept it and its logs move. One of yours that we approve becomes ours on your phone by itself.

Changed

An attraction we remove leaves your phone unless you logged it, in which case it stays as your own listing. When we merge two entries that were the same attraction or park, your logs move with them.

Removing a listing of your own removes its logs too, and says how many first. Time Rewind can bring them back.

Old logs that only had a ride name are now on a listing of your own, and coasters you added count towards trophies.

Only Operating, SBNO and Defunct get a mark, and the status chips are filters. Seasonal attractions say Seasonal and sit at the end of their kind. A planned attraction is not offered but can be found by name.

A figure the catalogue does not hold is no longer shown as 0.

Ghost logs no longer survive a sync.

A tap outside a text field closes the keyboard.

A park's page becomes its line-up, drawn as one coaster with a board of stamps and your visits. Attractions show the seats you have sat in. Released 22 September 2026 to Google Play and TestFlight; written up 12 October 2026.

The headline is the park page, redrawn as the park's line-up.

New

A park is drawn as one coaster: a hill for each operating coaster in the order they opened, as tall as that coaster on a scale every park shares, green once it is a cred, with a loop for a coaster that inverts and a train running the track.

Tap a hill to name its coaster and light its tile below. Tap again to let go.

THE COASTERS is a board of stamps, inked for a cred and dashed TO RIDE for one you do not have. THE REST OF THE PARK folds by kind with your own count, and "No longer here" folds what has gone.

YOUR VISITS HERE is a line for each day you logged at the park, with its rides, new creds and trip. The latest five show and a day inside a trip opens the trip.

ABOUT THE PARK covers place, type, operator, opening, former names and website. The status line sits under the name.

A park of your own has EDIT YOUR PARK. For one of ours, SOMETHING WRONG OR MISSING? sends only the fields you changed for review.

YOUR SEATS, inside YOUR RIDES, shows how many of the train's seats you have sat in, the front and back rows by name, and a small train with those seats lit. The seat picker draws seats you have sat in green.

On an attraction, TIMELINE is plain log rows with the day leading each one.

Changed

The log button is a round button in the corner that shrinks away as you scroll, and search grows out of the search icon.

Opening an attraction from a list shows the page complete at once. An attraction with nothing logged says "Nothing Logged".

"Operated by" replaces "Run by", and "Generic Operator" is no longer shown.

A day of timing says "1 Measurement", not "0 rides".

Fixed

Going back from a log to its attraction and onwards no longer stacks copies of the same pages.

Backups upload only when your logs change, Download My Backup truly replaces the phone's data, and leaving a past-day Quick Log asks before discarding. Released 21 September 2026 to Google Play and TestFlight; written up 12 October 2026.

Changed

Your Drive backup uploads only when something of yours has changed, not after every catalogue update or edit.

DOWNLOAD MY BACKUP now replaces what is on the phone. Anything that was only on the phone is removed, and Time Rewind can bring it back.

If linking Google works but the app cannot read your backup, it says so and points you at SYNC NOW.

Leaving Quick Log part way through catching up on a past day asks first (DISCARD n LOGS?). DONE keeps them.

Logging an attraction for an earlier day can move a cred to that earlier log, and your trophies follow at once.

An attraction can be marked seasonal (a scare maze, a Christmas show) as a second flag beside Operating, shown on its detail view.

Deleting a trip also removes its list of logs. The logs stay.

Trophies are re-checked only when something changed.

Fixed

Logs brought in by Smart Import now carry a change time like every other log, so two phones sharing a backup treat them properly.

Deleting a log could land you on a blank page if you had opened it twice on the way.

"Catalog updated" said "1 Hr Ago" straight after an update in summer time.

Safer Google Drive backup, a reinstall can no longer replace your backup with an empty one, and a log in two trips is listed once. Released 20 September 2026 to Google Play and TestFlight; written up 12 October 2026.

A small build about backup safety.

Changed

A freshly installed app reads your Google Drive backup before it writes anything to it. After linking, download your backup or tap SYNC NOW. Until then Cloud Sync says "Not backing up yet. Tap SYNC NOW".

If a phone restore leaves the app linked without a working Google sign-in, Cloud Sync says "Sign in again to keep backing up", and SYNC NOW signs you in again.

A different Google account is refused with a clear message ("That is a different Google account. Nothing was synced") instead of writing to another account's file.

Backups start when you leave the app, not whenever it loses focus.

Fixed

A log that is in two trips (a park day inside a whole holiday) is listed once, not once per trip.

Logging becomes a ticket with a seat on the real train. Far fuller attraction pages, edit them on the page, and add your own parks and attractions. Released 18 September 2026 to Google Play and TestFlight; written up 12 October 2026.

The second build of the invited beta. Everything since build 85 on 4 September.

New

A new log is a ticket: pick your seat on a drawing of the real train, set the date and time, and say whether it counts as a cred. COUNT AS A CRED is a switch that says in words what you are overriding.

A log you have kept shows as the same ticket on its own page (Ride Details). Change anything on it, the date included, or delete it beside SAVE.

After a quick log, a small ticket stays for a few seconds: rate it in one tap, ADD SEAT & NOTES, or UNDO.

Quick Log has a day chip (Today, Yesterday or any day). On a past day the sheet stays open, each tap adds one ride, and DONE celebrates the whole sitting.

Attraction pages are a clear list of facts: who made it, its design, its elements in order, its trains, when it opened and closed, former names and what it replaced. YOUR RIDES comes first, with how many times, your cred number and when you first rode it.

Something wrong or missing on an attraction? Edit it on the page, mark what is wrong and use SEND FOR REVIEW. With no signal it is kept and sent later, and the page shows its state. IMPROVE LISTING is retired.

THE TRAINS: a train is drawn from its arrangement of cars, rows and seats, with riders per train worked out.

Add Your Own Park is one form that adds a park for you and proposes it for the catalogue.

Add Your Own Attraction is a staged form: maker, model, variant, design, elements in order, a private description that is never proposed, numbers in metric and a drawing of its train.

You can add an attraction right where you look for it, from Quick Log or a ghost log's page. Own coasters count as creds, and changing a coaster's type moves your creds with it.

Review Matches and match suggestions show how sure the app is and why. Smart Import lets you choose the sheet.

The dispatch timer is set up on the timer itself. A measurement is saved as a timing slip.

Wear OS: a running dispatch timer stays on the watch screen, even when the watch dims.

Changed

Park search ignores punctuation, spacing and a leading "The", so "Port-Aventura" finds PortAventura Park.

Pulling to refresh is a quick update of what changed rather than a full download.

Confirmations are dialogs with a close button, and a form with unsaved changes cannot be swiped away by accident.

The first update after installing downloads the catalogue again once, to bring in opening dates and history.

Fixed

Saving from a ride's page could blank details it had not loaded.

Clearing notes, rating or seat now saves.

A cred moved to another log is no longer counted as a new cred, and two rides cannot be logged at the same instant.

A wooden coaster counts however the catalogue spells Wood or Wooden.

A Time Rewind or backup restore keeps your own attractions and parks.

The keyboard no longer hides the field you are typing in.

Removed

The older propose sheet and the coaster search modal, replaced by the forms above.

RESOLVE WITH AI in the Merge Point form.

The invited beta begins, on both stores. Your own listings, a two-step Smart Import, a built-in catalogue that works offline, and new sheets. Released 4 September 2026 to Google Play and TestFlight; written up 12 October 2026.

The invited beta begins: the first build for invited testers, on Google Play and on TestFlight. Every build before this one was internal testing. It carries everything since build 50 (28 July).

Your own listings

An attraction that is not in the catalogue becomes your own listing, kept with your backup and Time Rewind. Logging the same ride again finds the same record, so it is not a new cred each time.

A park name you type becomes your own park unless it matches a catalogue park, so "alton towers" lands on the real Alton Towers. Your own parks show in Explorer and can be your active park.

Catalogue entries are marked CRED COUNT VERIFIED and your own YOUR LISTING. Specs from your own listing are labelled UNVERIFIED USER DATA on share cards.

After an import, a card offers to suggest your unlisted rides to Cred Count. It is opt-in per ride, every box starts unticked, and it sends only the name, type and park.

Unlisted rides now show their own names in trips, and no longer count as separate parks. The Cred List CSV export keeps unlisted creds, and the Ghost Log trophy appears on your first unlisted ride.

Smart Import

The Holding Pen is now the Merge Point and works in two steps: first the park, then the ride. You are asked once per park. The list is in sections with progress per park, and rows stay in the order of your file.

Google Sheets opens Google's own file picker, so the app only sees the one file you choose. The old list of recent spreadsheets is gone.

TRY AGAIN reuses the same file. The progress bar no longer stalls or leaps, and a workbook shows "sheet 2 of 5".

Spreadsheet line breaks now reach the AI, so column mapping is far more reliable. A heading row like "Coaster, Park, Date" is no longer imported as a ride.

The import share card shows its full figures, UNIQUE CREDS is correct, and YOUR LISTINGS replaces UNLISTED.

Logging and screens

Logging starts with a full-screen SET ACTIVE PARK step with search, an All Countries chip and a globe. Back means one step back. Park pickers ignore accents ("asterix" finds Parc Astérix).

New sheets: pickers open as tall as their content, a sheet can sit inside another, and forms and pickers have a raised title bar with a close button. Share uses the new sheet, with a spinner while a card is made.

Attractions, parks and logs each look the same in every list (Explorer, Quick Log, search, Vault, Dashboard and trips). Quick Log shows "4 Rides Logged".

The app is portrait only, and launches on current iPhone software. The iPhone launch screen shows the Cred Count mark.

Haptics no longer double up.

Catalogue and legal

A fresh install opens with the full catalogue built in, so it works with no signal. If it is missing, Explorer says CATALOGUE ARRIVING.

Settings has a LEGAL section with the privacy policy and terms inside the app, offline, with a contents list, VIEW ONLINE and PREVIOUS VERSIONS.

Fixed

Ghost Match Review no longer crashes when you confirm a match from a ride's preview.

Trip names save half a second after you stop typing, and a park with no country no longer crashes Explorer.

A shorter Smart Import review, safer alias learning, smoother keyboard and buttons, and a fix for Drive backup failing on a second phone. Released 28 July 2026 to Google Play; written up 12 October 2026.

Polish, plus a reworked Smart Import review.

Changed

Smart Import's review is shorter. The CREDIT VERIFICATION question is gone: rides saved as unlisted now count as creds, and you correct any in The Vault.

The MATCH DETAIL sheet is gone. The attraction's own page shows how sure the match was (Perfect match, Strong match, Approximate match, or Matched via a saved alias), with CONFIRM MATCH and, in review, DEMOTE TO HOLDING PEN.

The search sheet is now FIND ATTRACTION, shows "Your entry" and "Catalogue results", and no longer pre-fills the search box.

The Cloud Backup and Google Account sheets were rebuilt. They show counts of rides, dispatches and trips for this phone and for the backup, with the last sync date.

Drive and Google Sheets share one Google sign-in. Disconnecting one signs the other back in straight away so it stays connected.

Buttons squash slightly when pressed and respond faster.

The keyboard moves footer buttons and sheets more smoothly, and back gestures are caught while editing a trip or notes.

Notes in the ops detail screen scroll into view when you edit them, and badges fade between view and edit mode.

Explorer search keeps recent results, so going back is quicker, and empty states in Explorer match each other.

Destructive buttons have two looks: solid red only for the final step that destroys data (DELETE LOG, ERASE & REPLACE), and a red outline for reversible ones (UNLINK).

A user's own confirmed alias now scores as a trusted match, like another person's does.

Fixed

A ride demoted back to the Holding Pen keeps its date. Before, the date was lost and later saves stamped today.

Matches you make while offline are no longer lost. They are queued and sent when the connection returns. If the server later rejects an alias, that alias stops being used, but the match you already made stays.

Google Drive backup no longer fails when a second phone pulls a trophy it did not have.

The trophy for confirming a match no longer disappears if your aliases are cleared.

After importing a JSON backup, a DUPLICATE CHECK warning appears if the import may have created duplicate-looking entries. It only warns; nothing is merged or deleted. The count of imported logs now reflects what actually landed.

Time Rewind's timeline spaces moments by how busy they were, with buttons to step between clusters of events and a small overview strip. A rewind now becomes an undo point you can return to.

Settings, App info shows your "Device ID" (tap to copy it) so you can quote it in a data request.

The navigation bar, search bar and segment toggle hide as you scroll down and come back in two stages as you scroll up. They return straight away when you select several items in the Vault.

The screen stays awake while you are timing dispatches.

Changed

The Holding Pen is titled HOLDING PEN with "RESOLVE RECORDS" under it. The review and import-complete screens were reworked (REVIEW LOGS, IMPORT COMPLETE, CREDS COUNTED, SHARE IMPORT STATS, RETURN TO LOGBOOK).

The Vault shows a restore preview in Vault order.

Text now uses a Roboto font file packed into the app.

Fixed

Smart Import samples long CSV files correctly. Files with Windows line endings could stop the AI column-mapping step from working.

Restoring a backup no longer trips the "too many deletions" guard on cloud backups.

Deleting a log from its detail screen no longer freezes the app.

A phone upgrading from an old database no longer stops with "no such column: updated_at".

Time Rewind restores your logs to an earlier point, Drive backup guards against mass deletion, and the phone app works with a Wear OS watch. Released 12 July 2026 to Google Play; written up 12 October 2026.

New

Time Rewind. Settings has a new DATA RECOVERY section with "Time Rewind: Restore your logs to an earlier point". It opens a timeline with RECENT RESTORE POINTS and a way to pick an exact minute.

Choosing a point opens a read-only preview of your Vault as it was then, with a draggable scrub bar you can zoom and pan. It snaps to the moments that matter, and you can snap back to now.

A SELECT RECOVERY POINT sheet lists the detected moments and has an EXPORT JSON button. Recovery covers the last 180 days.

To restore, you hold a button, HOLD TO CONFIRM & RESTORE TIMELINE, and a message says how many logs were restored.

A GOOGLE ACCOUNT section in Settings ("Manage Google Account") shows the email connected for Drive Backup and for Smart Import (Google Sheets), and lets you disconnect each separately.

Linking Google Drive now asks what to do: MERGE & SYNC, RESTORE CLOUD COPY (replace this phone's data, for new or reset phones), or link without syncing.

The phone app now works with a Wear OS watch app. Taps made on the watch reach the phone even when the phone app is closed.

Changed

Drive backup holds back when it sees many deletions since the last sync. The Cloud Backup card turns to a warning, and Sync Now asks you to confirm how many logs would be removed from the cloud copy.

A snapshot of the cloud copy is taken before an overwriting backup, and old snapshots are pruned.

The Vault screen was rebuilt so it can also show a past state.

A trophy is remembered as celebrated once shown. One earned while the app is closed, or from the watch, is celebrated when you next open the Dashboard.

If a log you have open is deleted or changed by a sync, its screen closes with "This log was removed." or "This log was updated by sync." instead of showing stale data.

93 trophies in ten groups: Milestones (1st to 1000th cred), Geography, Coaster type, Material, Specs, Manufacturer, Ops, Engagement, Behaviour and Community. Examples are "First Visit", "Passport Collector", "Mouse Hunter", "Wood Enthusiast", "B&M Certified", "Stopwatch Regular" and "The Critic".

The Analytics tab is now "Profile", with two views: OVERVIEW (the old analytics) and TROPHIES.

The Trophies view groups them in collapsible panels with a progress bar for each group, and filter chips you can combine. A trophy remembers which ride earned it, and you can share one as a card.

The Dashboard shows "RECENT TROPHIES", five to a row.

Earning a trophy or milestone shows one new celebration screen ("TROPHY EARNED!" or "MILESTONE REACHED!"), replacing the old cred dialog.

Ride log pages show the trophies earned on that ride.

Trophies are saved in the Google Drive backup, the JSON export and sync.

The warning on wiping data now mentions trophies.

The Dashboard and tabs are faster on 120Hz phones, and screens refresh themselves when data changes, with less flicker in Explorer, Quick Log and the Dashboard.

Changing a log from cred to ride, or the reverse, by hand is remembered and is not undone when the app recounts.

There are filter chips for type and a search box. "LOG CUSTOM RIDE" saves an unlisted ride if the one you want is not there. A cred or milestone shows the celebration straight away and can be shared.

A session banner on the Dashboard shows "ACTIVE SESSION" with the park, or "NO ACTIVE SESSION", with a small pulsing light. The session ends at midnight. If you log a ride in a park today, the app picks that park as the session for you, unless you cleared it.

The Holding Pen, where imported rides that did not match wait, is rebuilt so you can work through it quickly.

New

Each Holding Pen card shows a suggested match where the app has one. Tapping a card opens "REVIEW MATCH": the attraction's own page with a CONFIRM MATCH button at the bottom, or a button to search the full catalogue.

Long-press a card to select several. The bulk actions are CONFIRM MATCHES, SAVE AS UNLISTED and DELETE PERMANENTLY, each with a confirmation sheet. Saving as unlisted asks "Is this ride a credit?" first.

Swipe a card to discard it ("SWIPE TO DISCARD"). An "ALL CLEAR" screen shows when the pen is empty.

A "RESOLVE WITH AI" card shows how many of the remaining rides the AI could help with, and says plainly that rides from travelling fairs cannot be matched that way. Anything the AI could not resolve can be saved as unlisted in one go.

The review screen after an import shows a coloured dot beside each matched ride: green for 90 or more, amber for 60 to 89, none below that or for matches from a saved alias. Tapping it opens "MATCH DETAIL", which explains in words how sure the match is, from "Perfect match" to "Approximate match", and lets you open the attraction.

The search for a match waits until you type before saying "NOT IN OUR DATABASE?", and then offers to save the ride as unlisted or propose it for the catalogue.

The old "propose an attraction" screen is replaced by the sheet used elsewhere, filled in with the raw name from your file.

Smart Import reads Excel files, matches more strictly, learns from your corrections, and Drive backup is safer across two phones. Released 18 March 2026 to Google Play; written up 12 October 2026.

New

Smart Import accepts Excel (.xlsx) files as well as CSV and text. If the workbook has several tabs, a "Multiple sheets detected" sheet asks which tabs to bring in, each with a tick box, and each tab is read on its own.

When you resolve a ride by hand in the Holding Pen, the app remembers the name and park, so the next import of the same wording matches by itself.

When enough people have confirmed the same ride name, it is passed to every phone during sync. Only the wording and the attraction it was matched to are shared, nothing about you.

Changed

Matching to the catalogue is stricter and smarter. Park names are matched first, and a ride is only matched inside the park named in your file. Very generic names are no longer matched to an attraction in some other park. There is a fall-back for names with a bracketed part, and a prefix search.

A ride you resolve by hand counts as a cred only if it is a coaster. Before, it always counted.

Which rides count as creds is worked out the same way after an import as everywhere else, and importing re-checks it.

Google Drive backup pulls from Drive when you return to the app (at most once every five minutes) and on a cold start. A backup first checks that nobody else has changed the Drive file since you last looked; if they have, it pulls and merges before uploading. "Sync now" does a full pull then push.

Google Drive backup arrives, with auto-backup, Wi-Fi only option and restore. Explorer opens on Operating, and the Back button steps through your tabs. Released 17 March 2026 to Google Play; written up 12 October 2026.

New

Settings has a "Cloud sync" section, "Google Drive Sync". It links your Google account and backs up your ride logs, trips and creds to a hidden folder in your own Drive that only Cred Count can read. The sheet says your data stays on your device and your Drive and is not sent to Cred Count's servers.

Auto-backup runs when you close the app, with a "Sync on Wi-Fi only" option, a "Sync now" button and a "Last synced" time. You can unlink again, and the backup stays on Drive.

Pulling from Drive merges the backup into the phone. If a device has not synced for over six months, it pauses and offers "Restore from cloud" instead of merging, with a warning to export JSON first if you have logged offline.

Dashboard supports pull to refresh.

The log dialog shows the cred choice as "Count as cred" or "Ride only".

Changed

Explorer opens on Operating only, and you can pick more than one status chip.

The Back button steps back through the tabs you visited before it leaves the app.

If the phone's catalogue is empty, the app syncs straight away regardless of the cooldown.

Deleting a trip or a ride is now a soft delete, so a deletion on one phone can reach another through the backup.

Form fields, bottom sheets, toggles and buttons share one spacing and styling scheme.

Fixed

Signing in no longer shows a "signing you in" prompt on every launch. After linking, the app pulls your data and shows a success message.

Whether a ride is a new cred is worked out from your current logs, so the button and the celebration agree.

Smart Import brings in a spreadsheet from another tracker, unlisted rides, approximate dates, quiet background sync and multi-word search. Released 6 March 2026 to Google Play; written up 12 October 2026.

Smart Import (Settings, then Smart Import): choose a CSV or text file exported from another tracker, exactly as it is. The app sends a sample to the server so an AI model can work out which columns mean what. Your rides are then matched on the phone to the catalogue, with typo and sound-alike matching.

Obscure or unmatched rides go to a "Holding Pen", where you can search the catalogue for a match, let an AI auto-resolve try, or save them as unlisted rides.

A review screen for imports (matched rides with their dates, filters for issues and for missing dates, swipe to send a match back to the pen), a success screen with a share card of your imported totals, and a privacy note saying what is sent to the AI.

Unlisted rides: an attraction that is not in the catalogue can be saved as your own entry, with its park name and a choice of whether it counts as a cred. You can create one from Explorer search too. If the catalogue later gains the attraction, the entry links to it.

Dates can be approximate (month only, for example) and show as "Jan 2024" where the exact day is not known.

Searching for an attraction accepts several words and has a "Coasters Only" option.

The catalogue syncs quietly in the background, fetching only what changed since last time, with a cooldown, instead of waiting for you to start it. Deleted catalogue entries are removed on the phone.

Share cards share one design and a common grid of figures, including the attraction's length.

Bottom sheets handle the keyboard better (footer buttons move out of the way), and lists animate in.

The bottom tab bar was restyled: dark background, shorter bar, clearer selected tab.

The "Measure Ops" button is now white and upper case, and the seating and notes boxes are tidier.

Long attraction and park names shrink to fit the page header instead of being cut off.

The "CRED EARNED" badge is back on an attraction's page when you have a cred on it.

The dispatch timer ring keeps going round after 60 seconds instead of stopping at a full circle.

Editing a logged ride now lets you change its trip and its cred setting.

Row, seat and train in the log dialog start empty and can be cleared again (shown as a dash) instead of being forced to 1.

The first build. A ride logger with a park catalogue, creds, a dispatch timer, trips, career stats, and JSON and CSV export. Released 26 January 2026 to Google Play; written up 12 October 2026.

Five tabs along the bottom: Dashboard, Explorer, Vault, Analytics and Settings.

Dashboard shows your total creds as a large glowing number, this year's rides, recent activity and sync progress. The mascot Alan appears when there is nothing to show yet.

Explorer lists parks by country, with search and Operating, All and Defunct filters. A park shows its attractions, and each attraction has a page with its specs and your history on it.

Log a ride with a rating, a seating position and notes.

A "Count as Cred?" tick, on by default for a coaster you have not ridden and off otherwise. Your first ride on a coaster becomes a cred, shown as a green star.

A dispatch timer for timing train dispatches at an attraction. It shows rides per hour, you save it with a slide to confirm, and it appears in your history as an ops log.

The Vault is your logbook, with filters for All, Creds, Rides and Dispatches. Trips live here too, and you can name, date and edit them.

Analytics shows career totals and extremes: tallest, fastest, most inversions and oldest.

Settings can export your logs as JSON or CSV, and import a JSON file back.

"Improve this listing", "Propose a park" and "Propose an attraction" forms send suggestions for review.

Haptic buzzes when you log, and a longer rumble when you earn a cred.
